611.88 deeded acres in Section 8-142-58 (Ashtabula Township) Barnes County, ND. (Paved Hwy 19 / 115 Ave SE on the west side)
The west 1/2 has 314.98 deeded acres, with 13.23 acres in a large shelterbelt on the north side, 8.64 acres of grass/expired CRP, 13.11 acres of grass and pasture and the balance of approximately 280 acres is tillable. The soil PI of the cropland is 86.7 and the predominant soil is Gardena loam which is among the most productive in Barnes County.
The east 1/2 has 296.90 deeded acres and is mostly pasture and trees. The deeded pasture is approx 240 acres, but additional pasture and water are available in the NE corner (15.8 acre exclusion for Baldhill Dam) and along the east side (7.12 acre exclusion for Baldhill Dam).
